late evening wake up feed?

DS is 21weeks. He has his bedtime feed at around 6:15pm, it's a pretty long one (both boobs, up to half an hour) compared to his day feeds (struggle to get him to feed longer than 5 mins) and he's generally asleep by 7pm. We then normally do a dream feed between 10:30 and 11pm. The last few weeks though he's woken prob three out of four nights exactly 3 hours after his bedtime feed. He seems hungry so we've fed him (handily happen to have ebm in the fridge due to his crazy weird sleeping through and not sleeping through meaning I generally have to pump every morning) and he'll take prob about 4oz and maybe an extra min or 2 on the boob (though I think this is comfort suckling to get back to sleep).

We've gone ahead and done his dreamfeed, which is formula and he guzzles a good 7 or 8oz.

Is this his version of stocking up due to a growth spurt do you think? He's starting to sleep through (4nights out of 9 recently) and happily settles himself in the night if he wakes, I'm a bit scared to bodge that out by dropping the dream feed when he's had this late evening feed too - just wondered what people's thoughts were?

It may be that he's ready for some solids during the day? Both my boys were ready a lot earlier than recommended, 1st DS due to being such a big boy from birth and 2nd DS due to reflux so didn't want his milk through the day.

LOL! yes I was a member then DS's sleep went back to normal so not worried - I don't think it is a sign for weaning to be honest, he's not showing any other signs (interest in food, waking more in the night etc etc)
