The little bandana thingies are cute, but imo are expensive for what they are. They are less 'baby' looking than bog standard bibs, but do the same job. They don't stand up to really persistent dribbling for very long, and aren't long enough to catch substantial pukes.

i think they're great for dribble as it doesn't go thru' so clothes stay dry. not sure about suitability for pukes tho like roskva. i bought a stack of ginormous terrycloth bibs for meals -99p each - from www.babyreflux.co.uk - they also have the bipistuff bandanas for 2.99, much cheaper than elsewhere.

cant decide..what are bibistuff ones like if they are sick on them? Obv would smell but would sick go through it or only good for dribble?

they are fab mad4 My DS is a bit puke happy and they cope with his pukes well enough. they obviously need changing then but they stop the majority of it getting on his clothes so save loads of washing here.

I have some of the bipistuff ones, but recently got some from this ebay seller which are just as good as the bipi ones, but a wee bit cheaper and with nicer patterns imo.

Everyone comments on how cute DS2 looks as well!

LackaDAISYcal · 27/03/2009 11:50

and I find that even when they are pretty wet, the fleece backing still stays pretty dry and keeps the moisture away from baby so no spotty teething rashes or neck cheese!

Hi. £2.99 is an excellent price. I got these for DS as I hate plastic-backed bibs and have always liked bandana style ones - how shallow am I?? We don't use them much as he BFs and isn't a pukey baby, but I got them for administering Calpol (along the lines of 'just give your cat this pill...') and the odd bottle feed. Only thing is that as DS isn't sitting up yet (3 months old this Monday) doing up the poppers round his neck is a pain so I don't bother, just hold them in place for the duration. I do like the style and designs.

Try Dribbz they are the best ones I've used & I tried quite a few different makes, some of the cheaper ones fell apart & others were too expensive to have several different ones, the material designs are really different too! www.dribbz.co.uk

Lol at neck cheese!

I too kind of think they are expensive for what they are. You could buy a pack of nice bibs for that price.

I kind of have a thing for bibs. I have 50 or so for my pukey/dribbly DD.

I guess the way they are ruffled around the chest might mean they catch the puke?
