How do you warm bottles when you are out and about?

Have just started bottle feeding my ds2 and a bit of a newbie with bottles. How do you get your bottles heated when out and about? Are there any decent portable warmers? Any other bright ideas? Ds2 has made clear he likes his bottles delivered on demand and warm....

Any ideas appreciated.

What I did was put one oz of boiling water in the bottle from a mini flask. Then add how many scoops of powder that you need (DS had 8). Mix it all up and then add 7 oz of cold water (or how ever many more you need to make it up properly). The powder is hitting water above 70 degrees so is being sterilised but you also don't have to wait for it to cool down because adding the cold water afterwards means it is the perfect drinking temperature.

thanks, nappyaddict - sounds like a good idea. i have an insulated coffee cup and am wondering if that would work for transporting the boiled water.

I evenutally ended up with the flask option that nappyaddict said but if we were going out for a specified time and it all worked out, I used to make up the bottle then zap the bottle to within an inch of its life so that it had cooled down for when it was needed.

It was all a bit random but it seemed to work.

it all feels very random - so used to bf that i figured bottles were so ordered and predictable but defo a hassle in some ways.... hey ho, get my body back though!

Like you, found myself all at sea when I stopped exclusively Bfing and wanted to take bottles out, but I found this quite handy:
