expressing milk whilst overseas and bringing it home on the plane for baby

looking for advice on bringing back expressed milk for my baby.

am studying in france and need to express over there for comfort.

i am away for 2 weeks and have almost enough for the first week stored in the freezer - but its been hard going!

i was hoping to bring back my expressed milk from the first week, that would give her plenty to drink during the second week (as i am coming back for the weekend)

any help you can give me would be great

They may make you taste it! I had to do this with my own milk at security when I had an expressed bottle with me for DS, but I guess you may be putting it in the hold as there will be quite a quantity. If so I can't think of any issues from a flight perspective but just make sure that it is stored in such a way that it won't get too hot, like frozen in a freezer bag with ice blocks.

I've heard of people having trouble if they don't physically have a baby with them and they're not prepared to check the milk in, as apparently there are sometimes strict limits on the volume of liquid you're allowed to transport. Would it be frozen? How would you pack it?

Have you called the airline to see what they say?
