Please can you tell me how many/when your 7/8 month old is having bfeeds?

I am just looking ahead to going back to work. DD is 17 weeks and ebf. I am planning to introduce solids at 26 weeks and my understanding is that this will reduce the amount of milk that she has, but I don't know how much by. I have no plans to stop bfing her, was planning on just seeing how it went. She has never taken a bottle, but we have never tried very hard, largely because I wasn't bothered enough about it to keep up the expressing to keep giving her bottles so she didn't forget how to do it, but if she's going to need several feeds during the day then obviously we'd have to rethink that (or use a cup or something).

Sorry if I'm waffling I'm full of cold and still knackered from the 16 week growth spurt (she's snotty and waking several times a night, impossible to settle last night).

Just wondering what the usual pattern of feeding is at around 7 or 8 months, if you would be so kind

TIA

dd is 8 months and still has 5 feeds a day. Not sure what I would have done if going back to work at this stage. Probably would have given ebm or formula from a cup as she has never taken a bottle either.

Thanks - presumably those feeds are spread out throughout the day as well?

If I do go back to work then I'll be working for my brother's company and his office is next to my parents' house (all very incestuous!) so I imagine there will be quite a bit of flexibility but still no idea how it will work. I'm just trying to get my head around it all - feel like it's hanging over me at the moment and no idea what to do.

Yes, one first thing, one after morning nap, one before afternoon nap and then usually one after the nap as well, then bed time. But she's in much more of a routine than she used to be and I think we could probably drop one of these feeds if we needed to for some reason. I'm sure you'll be able to work something out when the time comes.
