DH, the DSs and I went to Odds Farm today, and I was feeding DS2 in the play barn and a woman walked past and gave me a huge smile. Hopefully it was an encouraging smile, not a 'you have a piece of hay sticking out of your hair' smile, but anyway - First time I have had one of those, just made me

Well, that's how we are round here, we love BF - glad you got a smile.

Did you have a good day?

whomovedmychocolate · 20/01/2009 21:23

She didn't proffer a bucket or pull up a milking stool then?

I grin at women nursing all the time, they probably think I'm mad.

Mind you DD yells 'look another booby mummy, me want some' so it's probably okay

Bet she was a MNer!

I had one of those today too, LadyOfWaffle. Was feeding DD3 in a Starbucks in town and a lady gave me a big smile as DD3 waved her feet in the air and suckled enthusiastically.

I always smile too

But if it lookedas cute as the pic on your profile it certainly is no surprise that you got a smile. that pic makes me melt

Yep, had a great day. I wondered if she may MN though I do hope the lady who saw DS1 having a dino burger, chips & ribena for lunch doesn't! I was fearing an attack of mumsnet tourettes - shouting out fruit shoots or something to see whether I got a smile or a 'you weirdo' glance

I smile too, and have been smiled at!

Today in a cafe i fed dd and then the lady at the next table fed her son, we smiled at each other and struck up a light hearted conversation about bf and biting (dd got first tooth today). It felt lovely and sisterly.

Have had nothing but positive experiences whilst out and about feeding - am so glad everyone round here is so supportive
