Sterilising water bottles for a 6 month old?

My DD is 6 months and is just starting solids but is still BF mostly. I've not had any success giving her water until I used a bottle today. Do I still need to sterilise the bottles? I can't find any information on when you stop needing to sterilise. As I've alway BF the whole sterilsing bottles is such an ordeal. Can I just wash with hot soapy water and dry? Any views?

Many thanks

No hot water is fine.

We always used the dishwasher or washed them in hot soapy water.

Kids eat crap off the floor, a sippy cup will be the least of her concerns.

Don't bother sterilising the bottles - not necessary, likewise don't worry about sterilising bowls, spoons etc. Wash up as with rest of dishes. Have also soley bf 2 kids and never sterilised unless I'd used for ebm and was going to freeze etc - will do same for our next one - due shortly. Only thing I'd be careful with although only in terms of washing up not sterilising is any cup etc I'd used for cows milk and again well washed is fine.

Cheers for that! A relief I don't need to bother with all that.
Thanks again!
