Is it possible for one breast to stop producing milk??

Although my 3 weeks old DS looks like she's feeding well from both breasts, I haven't seen any evidence of milk in the right breast for about a week now. When I try to express from it, only a tiny bit trickles out. The other breast however is always full and milk drips out before she even starts suckling. I've been trying to see whether DS is actually swallowing or just suckling, but it's really hard. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I know it's normal for one breast to have more milk than the other - but how can I be sure that there is still milk in the right breast?

Are his ears moving when he's feeding on that side. If so he's swallowing. It may just be that the right side is not as leaky as the other - and you will not be able to express anything like the amount your baby gets out. Rest assured, if it was completely dry he'd be pulling off and yelling at you
