I stopped bfing at 5 mo due to lots of probs and thought my milk had totally gone but I squeexed my nipple this morning just to check really and I got a drop of milk. How long is it supposed to take for the milk to stop? I thought it had already to be honest?!

Oh God, I used to get milk for at least a year after I stopped, but it was probably only a drop, literally.

i stopped over a year ago and i still do. i think that once you have lactated, you always will a little. tho if you needed to feed a child youd need to build up a supply iyswim

I stopped feeding my baby when he was 18 months old. I didn't totally dry up until he was 4.
I spoke to my doctor and she said that although this was unusual, it wasn't unheard of. I would have made a great medieval wet-nurse!!!!!!

One of my friends gave up bfing when her ds was only a few days old, she had lots of problems. I remember her telling me she was leaking milk for weeks, whereas I, exbfing my ds, hardly leak at all! Very strange!

Oh that makes me feel a bit better then, as I say, I don't leak, it's just that I can squeeze some out?!
