Pumping - how much is enough for a night?

help please!

DP is taking over tonight so I can have a decent nights sleep!!!

DS is 3 months and I have been pumping like mad. There is a frozen supply in bags, but how much is enough for an 8 hour period?

DS usually has his last feed at about 11:00 pm, and wakes up at 3:00?

Hmmm..

How much do you have stored up? I found that DD at that age only took a couple of ounces in a feed. How many feeds do you expect to miss?

Also, remember to do a really solid - both sides - feed before you go to sleep to make sure you don't get really uncomfortable..

I find that DD (3 mo) varies how much she wants/takes depending on the time of day, so it will be hard to tell... sorry

On the rare occassion that she hasnt woken me up for a middle of the night feed, I found myself waking anyway because I was really really full and feeling quite uncomfortable.

Have you see this, maybe it helps? www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkcalc.html

Happy sleeping

Thanks for advice - DS tends to cluster feed up until about 11:00 pm, so am only planning on missing one (maybe 2?) feeds.

Got about 150 mls stored up in 50 ml bags, which I hope will be enough?

Haven't had more than 3 hours sleep at one time since he was born .
