HELP- So I pour boiling water into baby bottle to measure then into the nuby cool then I add the powder and shake but when I pour back into the bottle I notice lumps sometimes. I shake thoroughly and then there’s lots of bubbles in the milk?

What harm will the bubbles do? Surely they’ll just dissipate of their own accord?

I don't know what a nuby cool is but swirling rather than shaking is less likely to create bubbles, if they bother you.

Oh don't use boiling water, follow the instructions on the tin to make up the formula feed.

All you need to ensure is that the water is still above 70 degrees in order to kill and bacteria in the powder.

No, measure the boiled water into the bottle, add the formula and shake/swirl or stir with a sterilised spoon, then pour the freshly made milk into the rapid cool to bring down to drinkable temperature. If you add the water to the rapid cool and then the powder the water is probably cooling down too much to dissolve the powder properly and that’s why it’s clumping. You want the water over 70 degrees to effectively kill anything bad in the formula.
Alternatively, you can use the hot shot method. Although it’s not formally recommended it saves constantly washing and sterilising the rapid cool. You can make up multiple bottles this way to store in the fridge.
