Difference in frozen milk

If I was to express milk, say when LO was 4 weeks and then used it when she was 4 months is there much difference in the milk and the nutrition... is the makeup of the milk at 4 weeks very different from the stuff that she may need at 4 months?

Hi BabyOcho, im sure that you can only freeze breast milk for 1 month. Unless things have changes in the last 2 years as this is what i was told when i was BF. I would speak to your health visitor first.

I didnt post very well... does the chemical make-up of breast milk change from week 4 to week 18 to week 40?
Is the stuff that I am producing now different from the stuff that I will be producing in August?? And will it be good enough?

(eg. colostrum was good for early days, but baby needs more now)

babyOcho, the composition will change but not so much that the milk shouldn't be used.
Lully, you can definitely freeze for longer than that! Check out kellymom 3-6 months in a fridge-freezer and 6-12 months in a separate deep-freeze.
