Formula feeding

Hi, I'm using Bonya milk by Kendamil. I've noticed it's very frothy and bubbley. My two girls have both been red in the face, crying, been very sick (projectile vomiting) and unsettled after their feeds. Could this be the problem? It's really stressful as I sit them up for atleast half an hour after a feed and wind them (even though they aren't bringing up much wind) and when I think they've settled I lie them down and they're choking on their sick sometimes. I feel awful as I don't know what to do for the best or to help them.

Are you using a machine like a Perfect Prep @CMC13as these can sometimes cause bubbles on the formula which in turn causes wind.

i fully breastfed and mine projectile vomited till about 4 months. May not be the formula but you could try another see if it helps.Goat milk formula apparently easier to digest

how old are they?
projectile vomiting consistently needs to be investigated, there are many reasons for this and some are more serious than others. Please see a GP.

Could be CMPA, or severe reflux etc but it needs discussing with a doctor OP.

Make sure you use bottles that mimic breast flow. The milk comes out constantly in a normal bottle whereas with breastfeeding it comes out after they use their suckling reflex to stimulate the milk.

They take too much and puke or and/or their gut expands too fast.

The bottles could make a lot of difference. Oberini, Mimjumi.

Your babies’ vomiting, choking, and distress could be from the frothy formula, reflux, or a milk intolerance. Try mixing the formula gently, feed slowly, and keep them upright.
