constant trapped wind at night

hopefully i’m in the right place but my poor daughter (17 months) is awake nearly every hour with wind at night time. i’ve tried giving her tea earlier, no fruit for pudding, no dairy before bed but nothing seems to help it. is there anything the dr can give me, i don’t want to call and waste time if there’s nothing they can give!

but is there anything i can try over the counter?! she does occasionally get constipated but usually sorts itself in a day or so

she is breastfed to sleep, i have tried and tried and tried not to resettle her with a boob when she wakes but she screams and screams until i cave in out of fear of her waking her brother!! but i do feel like this just exasperates the problem!!

If you suspect dairy have you tried both of you going DF for two weeks to see if there’s an improvement?

@BunnyRuddington she had allergy testing when she was 7 months old and they ruled out dairy, they did test for egg and she has a slight reaction (they didn’t call it that as it wasn’t big enough to be classed as one) she doesn’t like egg so never eats it directly but we did do the ladder and she was fine

They can’t test for non-Ige dairy allergy though? It’s usually diagnosed when you’ve completely elimater it from both your diets and the symptoms have cleared?

Do her symptoms sound anything like these?

Cow’s Milk Allergy

Cow’s milk allergy is an abnormal response by the body’s immune system in which proteins in a food are recognised as a potential threat.
