Help and advice needed for FTM of newborn

Hello,
im really looking for some advice. My DD is 5days old, been formula fed from birth as i couldn’t get on with breastfeeding and it was causing me so much anxiety. She’s on little steps formula. She eats really well taking in 30-50 ml at a time. Around 3 hours between each feed. I’m winding her, taking breaks with the bottle (Tommee Tippe anti colic bottles), massaged belly, leg movements. Nothing is working. She’s spitting up some milk but not enough to be concerned.
but after a feed her stomach goes very hard and she just cries and flales around. It seems to be worse at night.
I can’t settle her for hours after a feed, o have propped her up a little in her moses basket like the midwife told me to do. Nothing works. She has skin to skin with me and sleeps in my arms is upright but can’t sleep in Moses basket until this goes away which takes hours.
I can’t sleep, I’m exhausted from holding her for hours at a time.
Midwives seem like the couldn’t care less and keep asking if I have done all of the above. She’s pooing and weeing nicely so not constipated. I think it’s colic/refulx.
Can someone advise please, should I call doctors?

There are drops you can give before a feed which helps with colic. I can't remember the name of them. Also do you have a soft material sling? Then you can keep the baby upright on you and you can still get on with your day. Hope you get more advice soon.

Try this initially as it’s all herbal so won’t affect her tummy any further also booo to see an osteopath for her asap she could well have tension in her jaw / neck most babies do after birth and need some manipulation to be comfortable

I use Hipp Organic formula as I read this is the most gentle and my little one has never had a problem on it. If you do need to look at switching the little one, I would recommend it.

Bless you you must be exhausted. Have you tried Infacol drops? We used them with DD when she was tiny, really helped. My friend used gripe water as well which she swore by. Hope your little one is a bit more comfy soon.

Do you have a partner or a friend who could pop over and hold her while you have a lie down for a couple of hours?

I’d swap milk your using. Also, a bath would settle my one when nothing else worked - the kicking in the bath and the warm water got rid of the tummy ache / gas. A swaddle cloth one loved to sleep with / a sheepskin liner as the bed sheet wasn’t cold and a dummy. Enjoy your little baby ❤️

Another vote here for Infacol!

Absolute sanity saver when my daughter was newborn. I couldn't believe you could give from birth, but you can.
Just a drop or two in their mouth and it really helps with wind/colic.

I think it works by joining tiny gas bubbles in their tummy together to make it easier for them to get out. Most supermarkets sell it so fairly easy to get hold of.
