Tight swimsuit with BFing?

So this may be a dumb question but it's kind of worrying me. I'm EBF my 5 month old and we brought her swimming for the first time today. I bought a new swimsuit in a size larger than pre-pregnancy, and it's a bit small. It's VERY tight around my boobs. Not uncomfortable but they're smushed into my chest. I spent €40 on it so kinda kicking myself that I removed all the tags and can't return it. I know tight bras and clothes are a no-no with breastfeeding as it can cause low supply, clogged ducts ect. I had a breast abscess a few months ago from mastitis so I'm hyperaware of causing any issues that could make that repeat itself.

Would wearing it for 45ish minutes a week to bring baby swimming cause any issues? I could just buy a new one but don't want to throw money down the drain. Thanks in advance!

I don't think it would cause any issues for that amount of time. Might be worth feeding just before you go swimming so it is more comfortable. I had to feed my DS in the pool once (well I was on the side) - luckily at a baby swimming session so not too out of place!

Good idea about feeding beforehand! I can imagine the pain of wearing it when engorged😭

Thank you also for reassuring me on another stupid worry I had (I have PPA if you couldn't tell lol), I fed baby right after swimming and even tho I was dry, I was worried about the chlorine on my nipples upsetting her tummy or something. Need to stop worrying so much, thank you for your reply! 😊
