Newborn potentially cmpa intolerance? Help please

Hi everyone, wasn't sure which topic to put this in so I apologise if it fits elsewhere.

If anyone could help I'd appreciate a little advice! My sister was changing my newborn (4 weeks on Tuesday) nappy with me earlier and said his tummy looked really distended and felt hard. I have noticed this recently too. He's also been bringing formula up often after a bottle even though he isn't wanting to stop feeding and we stop him half way through his feed to burp him anyway. It can sometimes be like an hour after he's finished his bottle he brings some up. He also has a pin prick rash that comes up only on his face tho every couple of days, goes away, and then comes back again. I'm not sure if this is just baby acne though. He only does one bowel movement a day now and shows signs of suffering with trapped wind/ constipation sometimes in which infacol does not seem to help. His poo this morning was yellow/ brown and looked like a curdled mousy texture, very smelly. Could it be cmpa intolerance or am I thinking too much into it when actually this is typical newborn? He's still pretty chill & seems to be happy and gaining weight etc, not fussy after feeds really.

Any experience similar to this with their babies? Or any advice? Thanks so much!

Attached pics of soiled nappy but so sorry if this is tmi, just a worried ftm!

Constipation can be a symptom of cmpa
Your description of his feeding for me is more reflux like although reflux can be caused by cmpa.
Drinking the milk causes reflux and for them to bring up milk which causes discomfort but the act of feeding soothes the discomfort and you can end up in a vicious cycle of feeding refluxing feeding more refluxing more. I would go with giving less milk. If you are stopping the feed after so many Oz to wind I would only put that much in the bottle. Wind, give a break then give the rest of the milk in a fresh bottle to help give more of a pause
I would have a chat with your GP, it might be worth discussing a thickener to help reduce the reflux. This often cause constipation and given this is already possibly an issue you might need a stool softener alongside it. The constipation could be making the reflux worse too so it might be you address that first. If there's more poo in the bowel there's then less space for the stomach. If thickening feeds or addressing the constipation doesn't I would ask for a trial of a dairy free milk such as pepti or nutramigen and potentially omperazole for the reflux alongside it

Lots of red flags for CMPA.

Sorry posted too soon. But yes very smelly poo was a clue for us too, though mine was CMPA through breast milk, but all the same symptoms. Green poo/diarrhoea and discomfort/pain.

I've heard from formula feeding mums that GPs can try to fob you off a bit due to the expense of the formula so you may have to push them.

Then again- the fact he seems quite content could be a good sign. But CMPA tends to get worse with time, so you may have to watch and wait
