Tongue tie revision

Hi everyone

my baby was unsettled and had reflux from about 4 weeks. We went through all options CMPA milks, gaviscon, omeprazole, reflux milk, bottle change, prep change etc. we then found out he had a 50% posterior tongue tie and high palate. He continued being sick but managed this with lansinoh teats for a better latch. He’s now almost 6 months and will do a small amount a reflux (a teaspoon approx) after every feed with a burp. We believe his tongue may have reattached or wasn’t fully cut the first time. We’re seeing our original practitioner tomorrow for an assessment and have an osteopath booked for tension but I was wondering if it’s worth cutting again if it’s needed as I’d rather not go through that again through fear of reattachment and further scarring which may make things worse rather than better. Do I just wait it out and hope he gets better with his reflux and trapped wind with age/sitting/weaning etc?
he can now stick his tongue out with encouragement and it sits on the roof of his mouth when sleeping too (only sleeps with mouth open when he has a cold/congested).
any experience or opinipns is helpful!
