3m old eating 3-4oz every 2h (formula) - normal?

Hi everyone :) is it normal for a 3m old baby to still be drinking milk every 2 hours (he’s about 7kg)? My baby takes 3-4oz every 2 hours on the dot (and brings the house down crying if I try to extend it, honestly he’s like a cuckoo clock that starts crying every 2h practically on the dot).

He’s on cow and gate comfort and MAM bottles (teat 2) with a little bit of carobel bc he has silent reflux. He also had a tongue tie division about a month ago but this didn’t change how much he drinks even though his latch is much better.
At night, he has one “big” stretch which is from 7pm to 22:30pm (sleeping) but then it’s back to waking up every 2 hours. This is so exhausting, especially during the night because by the time I give him the bottle (he drinks slowly), burp, manage to get him back to sleep and manage to fall asleep again (I have difficulty sleeping), it’s time to start all over again… 😩

If anyone has tips on how can I help him drink more/give bigger stretches I’d really appreciate it!

Also, if anyone can share their nap routines with their 3 month babies I’d appreciate it because right now we’re all over the place. I have a 4y old and she was such a textbook baby and so easygoing/easy to set up a routine, I’m very lost with my baby boy now (and having a toddler means I’m already more tired so brain is not working too well).

Big thank you!!

I would slow the flow down with a size one teat and practice the paced feeding technique. I wouldn't be guided by a clock but learn baby's (changing) cues and note that all leaps, growth spurts, and eventually illnesses and teething will change feeding habits. So the first two years are often about adjusting to new normals! Some people find wake windows helpful.

Could you keep waking him after 7pm and push the longer stretch back so you can get some better rest? I'm assuming you're not also going to sleep at 7pm but 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep for you will make a huge difference
