I need help!

my daughter who is 5 weeks old was on kendamil milk originally and was gaining a good amount of weight however over the past 2 weeks she has become really difficult to feed. Will take 2oz then squirm about, it was like she was hungry and wanted the milk but was in pain, with a little bit of spit up. The dr prescribed gaviscon but there was no improvement. Over the last 3 days she has been being sick, a large amount, around half an hour after feeding me (although not after every feed) again I took her to the dr, tbh he wasn’t that helpful. He weighed her, and she has lost weight, then prescribed nutramigen. We went to the chemist and it wasn’t in stock which was my initial worry, I really don’t want to be having to source milk and it being difficult! they said they could order it in. After speaking to my cousin, her daughter was the same and she suggested a lactose free milk, so out of sheer desperation we bought some aptamil lactose free, stupidly I thought nutramigen was lactose free but now know it’s cmpa milk. Anyway, daughter has had a few feeds on the lactose free, and she is less fussy and it’s squirming, but she is only having 2oz of milk… she just falls straight to sleep, I’ve tried changing her after the 2 oz to wake her up, she will wake but as soon as the bottle is back in her mouth she goes back to sleep, won’t even latch. She’s going every 3 hours and I’m now very concerned that she isn’t getting enough milk. I have no idea what to do for the best, I must add that on kendamil she was having 3oz feeds, sometimes 4!
my first born wasn’t anything like this, please any advice would be greatly appreciated

@penjy has she actually lost weight or is just dropping down her weight centile?

How much does your LO weigh and how much formula woukd you say she's had in the last 24 hours?

And have you managed to source the nutramigen yet?

She had lost a little weight. We ended up taking her to hospital to get checked out. We spoke to a paediatric nurse who thought she was being over fed. She worked out how much milk she should be having based on her weight and how long she goes between feeds & it worked out at 65ml per feed, so just over 2oz. The nurse said to be on 4oz of milk for a baby of her size was a lot of milk, and that maybe why she had reflux symptoms because she is so full. Which i never thought she could be over feeding at all! She advised we stay on our normal milk and give her the 2oz, which we have done and I just must say the symptoms have disappeared. She isn’t fussy on the bottle and hasn’t been sick since! And she’s back to feeding normally! So i think the nurse was right in our case.
