Does this count as cluster feeding?

Hi everyone, my EBF 11 week old has been feeding longer than usual. She normally feeds between 5-25 minutes and is done and full. The last 2 days she's been actively feeding with little breaks while still latched for up to an hour. I feel bad I had to unlatch her twice yesterday as she was feeding on one breast for almost an hour and I was dying to go to the toilet haha. All other times I just let her stay on to her hearts content. She fell straight asleep after unlatching her both times so she was definitely full. She's a very efficient feeder and can feed to satisfaction in as little as 5-10 minutes.

When she used to cluster feed she'd do the typical wanting to feed every 20 minutes to an hour, but now she's feeding at her normal every 2-3 hours during the day, just for a lot longer than usual. Is 11 weeks a normal cluster feeding age? Does sudden long feeds even count as cluster feeding? She was born at 41 weeks if that is useful info. I find baby behavior so interesting and any new behavior has me asking all the questions haha, thanks in advance!

It’s totally normal for babies to want to feed more during a growth spurt! She maybe going through that, I noticed my DS would tend to cluster feed whenever he was growing. He’s bottle fed but he was taking between 8-10oz in the space of 2 and a half hours!! It’s also normal for babies to feed more as they get bigger too, she may just have an increased appetite and need more!

Definitely cluster feeding. They do it periodically to increase your milk supply as they are growing. Usually lasts for 24-72 hours or so.
