Milk Bleb help

Has anyone got any magic cures for milk blebs? Iv had one for 2 weeks now and tried everything I can think of to remove it.

So painful, anyone got any ideas?

Yep. A sterilized needle and some courage.

I have tried stabbing a needle in and then feeding but it's still there after. I have no idea how. Maybe I haven't put the needle in enough.

I had some you really needed to dig about, express and continue digging until you get a 'plug' of milk out.

And then check tongue tie and latch as that's how they tend to form. Or teething.

Feeding in a different position sometimes cleared them, like rugby ball.

I could maybe give it another go with the needle.

My baby has just had his tongue tie done for the second time.b

Lecithin supplements can help prevent new ones forming, apparently.

Yes, I'd highly recommend lecithin supplements. They've been like magic for me. As for the bleb, I think La Leche league used to recommend soaking it in warm water with epsom salts, and using a warm face cloth to rub over it. Might be worth checking for up-to-date advice on their website. Good luck x
