How can I increase milk supply in one boob?

I've always been a bit uneven, leftie has always had more milk than rightie and a faster let down. However, now I'm winding down bfing (ds is 7 months old and down to three feeds a day) rightie is really producing very little. DS gets really frustrated and wriggles and screams around until I put him on leftie, but I usually try to start on rightie cos I'm concerned about the supply that side and I figured always starting that side might help the supply. Is it possible to increase supply on one side?

thanks for that talilac... I thought I may have to do some pumping, but was hoping there might be some magic trick It's always been like that, in fact when I was pg my left one always hurt more too. It's only becoming an issue now as my supply adjusts to ds needing less bm, it's practially dried up. i will pump that side whenever I can to see if it'll even up, but I'm wondering if it's always been like that that even if I do pump more on that side, if I stop it'll revert to it's low supply and slow let down again. Am I going to have to pump more on that side until I give up bfing?

I don't know tbh, but I'm sure someone here will so am bumping for you..

I do know that BF is a supply and demand thing so if your body gets in the habit of making more milk because you're expressing, then it will continue to do so til the demand goes away, ie the milk isnt being removed by either the baby or expressing..
