Whilst surfing the net for other info I came across this interesing website. This lady has brought to the UK a halter top which allows you to express both breasts at the same time and keep your hands free to do other things. She was then able to produce enough breastmilk for her son who was unable to feed. This site also has tips on ways to express.

What do you think. See the website here

WoW! She totally fed her baby on EBM for 7.5 months!
Looks like a real fashion item! Can't say I would have bought it as I bf my 2 sucessfully. But id I had been unable to I think I may well have been tempted by somehting like this.
Dunno how comfy I would have been phoning my MIL while wearing it, though!
Liked her pages of support organisations though.

Just looked at the site as I was unable to express last time - must be pschological as I loved feeding DD. I thought that contraption looked awful, it just made me think of dairy cows. I found wearing a huge bra 24*7 bad enough. However I plan to feed baby2 myself.

That is the funniest device i've ever seen. Can they be serious. Looks like it was invented by Wallace and Gromit.

I'm not sure I could have worn it although I do remember expressing whilst surfing the internet... it can get messy if you don't pay attention I could only express if I could not hear my boys at all and if my attention was focussed elsewhere. Susanmt, I agree: there are definitely people I could not have phoned whilst expressing!

Looks like the site has loads of useful info though.

That is amazing but I wouldn't like to think of the way it would actually feel walking around as the bottles got heavier. Surely you could end up with mastitis or blocked ducts from the pressure?
