Constantly hungry - 5 weeks

Hi all, can anyone offer some advise or have you experienced something similar. I have a 5 week old baby who's currently already on 6 ounces of formula.
He drinks the 6 ounces and within an hour he's hungry again. There's no way he can want 7 ounces as that's far too much for his age. I tried it once as I felt bad thinking I was starving him but he threw it all back up again shortly after as it was clearly too much for his little stomach
This afternoon he's been unsettled since early hours, constantly opening his mouth and moving it to the side like he's still hungry when he's just finished a bottle within the last hour.
Iv read it would be a growth spurt and also something about cluster feeding. Has anyone else ever experienced this and can recommend what I can do to settle him? As he currently screams the place down within half hour of his full feed.

How is he apart from the hunger? Occasionally overfeeding can be a sign of CMPA. The milk hurts, so they want you to feed for comfort and it all starts again.

Do they have any of the symptoms in the list?

Will he take a dummy?

Will he take a dummy?

Agree with trying a dummy too. Usually best to try straight after a feed when they're fairly content.

Some babies do just have a strong desire to suck.

How are you both this morning @FirstTimeMom91?

Thank you for your help!
Iv tried the dummy, he wants it all the time though that's the only thing. As soon as he drops it he wants it back again. I just don't want him to he used to having the dummy all the time. But maybe it's only a phase and he will grow out of it.
