Hello,
I have posted before and recieved such an amazing help I'm reaching out again. This is a little long so apologies.

Little background: Our DD (5 months) was born with tongue tie which was undiagnosed and really bad reflux, would scream all evening and then I got matisis and supply slowed down. Long and short of it, breast feeding did not work and we switched to formula (Kendamil) at 2.5 months and baby has been so much more settled. Her reflux is largely gone, she sleeps through the night (touchwood), I can count on one hand how many times she has been in real discomfort. And she has shot up from 2nd percentile to 25th and is hitting her milestones.

Unfortunately she does have some kind of skin issue (1 nurse, a HV and 3 Drs can't agree on eczema or acne) which has shrunk down now to a cricle on her forehead and cheek. And for a few months she has passed explosive poos. That are a normal colour but runny. She has been sick a few hours after eating, but after reading online I am suspecting that is more to do with the face she constantly tries to sit up.

We had a Dr this month who diagnoses with mild CMPA and prescribed SMA Althera. The hospital said we can switch completely which was an abject failure literally drinking 5-10ml at a feed rather than her normal 6oz. She has also been sick a few times straight after feeding which she hasn't done since she was a newborn. I have now tried gradually switching with a combination of the two formulas but she has started drinking less and less and get upset during feeding.

I am at my wit's end and not sure how to proceed/what to try.

If you have read all this thank you so much. Any and all help appreciated.

Thank you for replying. I did consider this but the NHS campaign of don't wean till 6months has made me fearful. It may be something I revisit again to look into.
