High Chair Recommendations

Hello! My son is just over 4 months old, and how we're starting to think about weaning (not doing it now, but want to be prepared!)

We live in an apartment where our kitchen/living room is open plan, so space is minimal. Can anyone recommend a high chair that doesn't take up a ton of space... is there some kind of space saver high chair out there?

Thanks!

The ikea white plastic cheap one. Small footprint, easy to clean, can be dismantled.

We have a tiny flat with no storage too- we have a mini yumo 4 in one and it folds almost flat to the wall so hardly takes up space and can be used for ages so saves buying anything else!

Tripp trapp is amazing, it fits under a table and can be used for years (my near 6 year old has just stopped using it) they dont take up too much space and can be picked up second hand

If you can, find a 2nd hand keter multi dine. It's been discontinued but it's great. Wipe over hard plastic and the legs store in the base for trips away or for the toddler stage as a booster seat on a regular chair.

Similar, but not quite, is the "Babylo eatin mess" from Smyth's Toys.

Watch the footprint of the IKEA legs. They do spread quite wide if space is an issue.

Highly recommend the ikea and the trip trap - both extreme ends of market and great.

We had a Nuna Zaaz for over a decade which did various kids. Started off in our small kitchen and then was at the dining table. Has a really small footprint. Very easy to clean. Think we paid £90 for a brand new one but it's now £240 so see if you can get a second hand one.

Tripp Trap are amazing. I used it as a stool, a table - and a plant stand about 20yrs later!

Ive used Ikea both at home with the grandkids and we use them in work as well as they are so easy to clean and sterilise - if its a real mucky child, it just goes in the dishwasher and back in use within minutes ( industrial dishwasher )
