Breastfeeding and baby sleeping through the night

Hello hello,

My 3,5 month baby has been sleeping around 8 hours straight for the past month, only needing a small feed (about 125ml/4,2oz) around 4/5am.She takes that bottle from expressed milk that I express a little later (my husband gives her the 4am bottle), so I can sleep.
She is in 88th percentile for weight and growing well. Eventually we'd like to wean out this night feed. I'm aware it's early for the average but as I said, she is a good feeder during the day and growing well.

How do boobs adjust? I've tried to express later and later gradually, but my boobs are always pretty hard. Not quite in uncomfortable territory yet, but close to. If I wake up to pee in the middle of the night and I can feel them, it is hard for me to go back to bed without overthinking whether I should drain them or not.

PS: I know the 4 month sleep regression is coming and she soon might not sleep through the night anymore, but we have other successful soothing techniques which mean we don't need to give her the boob/food straight away.

Sorry I don't understand the question ? My boobs were always fullest 1st thing in the morning, the early morning feed was the last one a dropped ( most women I have spoken to say the same). Your body produces high levels of prolactin at night.

Your boobs will literally go with the flow. Just hand express a tiny amount off if you're in discomfort on the nights your baby sleeps longer

Breast fed babies will night wean themselves, when they don't need the milk they won't ask for it anymore or when they reach the time of naturally sleeping longer they won't wake. During growth spurts, developmental leaps and teething she'll want the boob because it's energy, comfort and crucially pain relief.

Ok thank you!
It has been a big struggle for me as i am absolutely terrified I'd get mastitis/clogged duct or infection

Just go with the flow, your boobs will adjust to what baby drinks in a surprisingly short amount of time.
