Stuffed up nose affecting feeding - worth buying a humidifier?

My 3 month old baby has a dry stuffed up nose and nothing I have tried so far seems to work including saline drops, gross sucky nose clear thingy, steam in shower room, vapouriser, raising cot head - arghhhh! Driving my poor ds mad and making feeding times a nightmare. Anyone tried a humidifier with good results? Any other ideas?? Thank you

if steam didn't work I doubt a humidifier will

have you tried the opposite - dry cold air? dd's snotty nose is much better when we're outdoors

spend the money on chocolate instead. It will pass but just be stressful while its there.

Good point MrsB! I do leave a window open at night (worse at night) but that also seems to make v.little difference.

I love our humidifier. Got it when ds was a baby and used it every time he's had a cold. Then it broke - hideous night from hell, had forgotten how awful it is being woken up every hour and a half. Bought new one, problem solved.

Ds was just the same. He is now 18 months and snores terribly still (I pity the poor woman who marries him). I'm with needmorecoffee - we tried everything, even nasal drops that were prescribed by his consultant, nothing worked but it did get better as he got bigger. You have all my sympathy as it was hard - especially as I couldn't sleep through all his snuffling...

Wet flannels on the radiator should help a little.
