Do what you want and what NO ONE else wants.

every baby is different, you may find things easy this time, you will know how you feel when you bf,but even if you only manage for a week at least you gave colostrum ,go for it you may suprise yourself

they ust make me feel like such a failure... when my sister has no right.. as she never even tried with her ds.... she is jealous i am preg again and i get snide remarks when i see her.. my father in law died last week so we will be naming the baby after him.. she thought it was a bad name and was telling me i should change it... she just hates me.. i put off getting preg for almost 2yrs as she was trying and i felt bad as she has probs falling.... she just hates me i think.. i had pnd last time and i know i will get it again if they both start on me

I never really got the hang of it with dc1 fed for about 4 weeks, dc2 fed for about 6 weeks, dc3 fed for about 10 weeks and was on ful ff by 12 weeks, dc4 the surprise one is still b/f at 9.5 months although she would never take a bottle of ebm or ff she has only just got the hang of being weaned by both blw and trying to spoon feed herself over the last week! Go for it they are all different and sometimes it just takes you having a deaf ear when you hear others giving negative remarks.

With the support of people on her I even managed to feed through maistitis thanks again to you all ! Im sure they know who they are perhaps I need to change my name cos im not a soremummy anymore Im a very very proud mummy who has managed to do this even with my 17yr old son, 15yr old dd, and 13 yr old daughter being initially embarrassed by it.

Poor you!
I think you should definitely try again - even if you only manage a few weeks the benefits for your lo are immense.
Am sad that your mum and sister didn't support you. Please don't feel you failed with your other two - you didn't! You did what was best for them and you at the time!
Make sure you get help when your new baby comes along, La Leche League and the Breastfeeding Network are good. Plus there is the new national helpline as well. And best of all there is MN!!
Congrats on your baby btw!

Loujan, soory your family didn't support you whwn you needed it most.
But...Mumsnet is fantastic for helping women through the trials of the early days.
We are all here if you give it another whirl.

You don't say how soon you stopped 2nd time round, but in 9 weeks you gave your 1st dc a really good start. What everyone else says about getting help, and see if you can find a local breastfeeding group near you to go to when the new baby was born. My mum only managed to bf with her 3rd baby. I'm sad for you that your mum and sister have upset you so much.

Just been doing some Googling for you and found this:

Guildford Drop-In Breastfeeding Clinic
Parentcraft Room,
Antenatal Clinic,
Royal Surrey County Hospital,
Guildford,
Surrey

Wednesday 10.30 - 12.00

Just because you had problems before doesn't mean you will again and with the right help those are problems that can be overcome. I highly recommend getting involved in a breastfeeding group, I don't think I would still be nursing now otherwise and they are the reason I wanted to train to be a BF Peer Supporter.

It sounds like your sister is jealous, I had similar problems with my SIL. Now she is pregnant and I'm training to be a BFPS she is going on about how terrible breastfeeding is and she would never do it (not to me mind, just in my earshot!) I'm afraid the other day I got rather irritated when Mum started questioning me about the course cause I'd just been listening to SIL and a couple of others going on and felt slightly got at.
