My right boob and its excessive let down

EBF 6 day old DD2 and off to a great start so far. My right boob is causing me grief though - if I’m feeding on the left side the right pours milk throughout the whole feed.

I have been using a muslin to put pressure on the right side when feeding on the left to try and stem the flow, but it’s always soaked by the end of the feed.

Not a problem at home but it’s going to be trickier to manage when feeding in public which I’m keen to do asap as getting out is important for my postnatal mental health.

Anything I can do to calm this down sooner rather than later or is if just a case of waiting for my supply to calm down? I had fast let down and oversupply issues with my first but I didn’t really understand or proactively manage it at the time.

If there’s nothing to be done, can anyone recommend a let down catcher so it’s not wasted? I have a Haaka but I want something that doesn’t stimulate supply - so just collecting. I have big boobs and my nipples are pretty low so anything that works well for those would be appreciated!

These sort of things, plenty similar once you know what they're called - milk collectors

Haaka make a milk collector too called ladybug, elvie does some too but with smaller capacity (but more discreet if you want to wear them out).

If you refrigerate soon after you can save up over a day or two for a bottle, but if you're out you could keep it to add to baths.

Unfortunately probably not much you can do, get breast pads (Medela ones are good), wear layers so any leaks are less noticeable, take a change of top out with you...
