Silent Reflux/Wind- Help!

Just looking for advice! Please no judgement 😊
My baby is 7 weeks old and is in some discomfort. From birth, he has struggled to bring up wind when feeding; his knees are almost constantly up though and he is only passing stools every 2-3 days.
The health Visitor said she thinks he has reflux and after a visit to the Dr about him being uncomfortable (squirming, red in the face, pushing, crying, hiccups) and bringing up milk after some of his feeds, he gave us gaviscon and lactolouse. With this however, he was passing hard stools and although he seemed a little calmer at first, it didn’t last.
We have now been put on a allergy milk to rule out that he has a cows milk allergy. He has been on this milk 2 weeks and we have seen no change apart from that he is now bringing up a clear liquid around 2 hours after a feed (a feeding team have said this is normal with this milk.)

He has been on 3 different milks now: was on Mamia but switched to Kendamil thinking it was the milk ccausing the discomfort and now this dairy free one.

I have read really good things about comfort milk and there is one available in the same brand as his current milk so he would only be going from fully hydrolysed to partially hydrolysed. Would anyone recommend this?

We really do not know if this is silent reflux or just a very windy baby who is uncomfortable.

At a loss of what to do now to make him more comfortable!

It's so hard when you are in the middle of trying to suss this out. My little one had silent reflux and the biggest sign was that she had to be held upright all the time. She was inconsolable when laid down. Also, I could hear her swallowing and liquid in her throat a good while after feeds, followed by crying. She wasn't sicky and had no problem with nappies or rash so dr discounted any allergy. We started with gaviscon but it don't make a difference and just made her constipated. Went on to omeprazole for a couple of months and it made a big difference. I had started with breast feeding but then tried a few different formulas. The comfort/reflux milk made her constipated..we eventually settled on Hipp because I'd read that some people had had success with it but I think it's just luck tbh and possibly combined with the medication helping anyway. My daughter was the most unhappy little baby but is now the happiest 1 year old.

I can't give any advice on the milk but have you tried all the other tips and tricks for reflux? Most will also help a gassy baby to.

Keep them upright after feeding. don't burp them in the traditional way, simply sit them upright and move them gently in circles. Raise the head of their cot. Wear them in a sling instead of lying them down. Bicycle legs and tummy massages a couple of times a day (not after feeding time).

Would you consider omeprazole instead of gaviscon?

@Raggeo we have noticed this swallowing when lying down! Sometimes he will be laid down and quite happy but other times he cries and coughs up clear liquid (assuming acid?) the reason I wanted to try the comfort milk was because my sister in law swears by it for her son's constipation and along with the reflux, he is definitely uncomfortable with wind/constipation.. I'm no one seems to have offered omeprazole.. definitely something to consider thank you x

@edin16 we currently do everything you have mentioned, thank you.. we: feed in an upright position, wind every other ounce (this is something we are really struggling with as he very rarely brings up wind and can sometimes be there a very long time), keep him up for 30 mins after feeds, wind with straight back to help air come up his windpipe easily and lifted his cot. For his constipation we: do bicycle legs, lift knees to chest, erm baths and tummy massage x
