Increasing supply at 9 weeks

DD has been mixed fed due to tongue tie which was snipped at 5 weeks. She's 9 weeks now and still going to breast then having formula top up at every feed.
She won't drop her top ups and is taking 1.5 - 4oz after a 20-30 minute breast feed every 3 hours, or 4 hours overnight.
I've tried going cold turkey but she becomes hysterical so I'm guessing there comes a point where there isn't enough breast milk to satisfy her.

How do I increase my supply. Is it a case of breastfeeding on demand and then pumping for 15 minutes an hour after to stimulate production?

Breastfeed on demand. Let her cluster feed as it will tell your body to make more milk.

The more milk you take out the more milk you make.

Get snuggled on the sofa together, lots of food and drink to hand, some good films and just feed feed feed.

@Twizbe I tried that a few weeks ago after I'd recovered from mastitis. It didn't go well because after a few hours she just wasn't satisfied and was crying hysterically until she had a bottle. I felt awful for her. I was debating whether to try it again when DH is off over Christmas.

Do try and pop along to any in person breastfeeding support groups. They tend to keep running over Xmas.

You can also call the NCT infant feeding line and that is staying open over Xmas.

Try to stay calm and focus on good positioning and attachment to help with efficient feeding.

It also helps to put baby to breast at the very early feeding cues, so as soon as they start to stir.
