Hello, I'm thinking ahead as I've got family coming over for dinner and my DS is going to be 7 and a half months old. I really want him to have some Christmas Dinner at table with us so he can join in with festivities. As he's now just over 5 months I'm thinking about when im weaning and some recipes to try. So just wondered if anyone has any advice what to give him for his Christmas Dinner. Am assuming he can't have the traditional Christmas Dinner but a version of it. Thanks. X

We didn’t do baby led weaning but used mainly jars and pouches. At Christmas we bought them a jar of roast dinner - they ate it so must have been ok.

Mine the works, dd was almost 9 months - I chopped up the potatoes finely, with Brussel sprouts smashed, meat shredded finely plus a little gravy - for feeding with a spoon, carrot baton and parsnip were left as finger food. I didn't offer Christmas pudding though, had a kids fromage frais

Ps I don't add salt to any of the food, none of us need it
