So she started with a stuffy nose 2 weeks ago still taking 20oz altogether in 24 hours.
acweek later she wasn’t having as much then she just suddenly stopped. Went to hospital then she started drink again (only monitored at hospital they never have her anything). 2 days later completely stopped drink her milk and everytime I put bottle to her mouth she started turning her head a crying. I’ve tried in a quiet room and dark room. I’ve tried different bottles and formula and nothing.
she’s eating all her foods and drinking plenty of water.
mbot having as many wet nappies but still wet nappies are there.
just feel hopeless mad just wondering if anyone else has experienced same thing?

Probably just totally binged up and it’s hard to suck and breathe when you’re full of snot.

try a sippy cup for some of it. Use her formula for food, porridge etc so she’s getting it just in a different way. You also say she’s eating plenty and having wet nappies. Give fluids in other ways, lollies, water, jelly, soup or whatever she likes this will help with her fluid intake. It’s hard when they do this but she’ll take again when she’s feeling better I’m sure

My twins are 10 months old and are just getting over a cold. I found they didn't like their bottles quite as much, likely because it was hard to breathe when drinking and also likely because food is more interesting now!

What I started to do was use their formula milk in their cereals (porridge and weetabix) to ensure they were getting their milk in some form and also started to do a dream feed with them before I go to bed. They have been having milk little and often as opposed to large bottles which they were having before.

If she's drinking water that's good as it'll stop her dehydrating.

Hope things improve soon xx

I tried her sippy cup and as soon as she realised it was her milk she wouldn’t have any. I’ve just started putting it in her food and she’s eating it still so that’s a positive! We did go to doctors yesterday and he said if she doesn’t want her milk then she doesn’t want it that’s fine but I’m just not settled at the fact she’s losing out on her milk and all the nutrients xx

You can get baby vitamin drops. I used them on the advice of the paediatrician with my 2 because they hated milk once they realised food was an option and were both basically fully weaned at 9 months old!
