No need to dilute, boil or even heat really. Just pop some in a bottle or cup and give it to babe. Might like it, might not. My dd2 got the green stinky runs for a bit when we swopped one of her bottles of formula for cows milk so we gave it a rest and tried again. Now she has formula first thing (no need to go downstairs - I'm lazy tho). Cows milk at nursery (about 3-4oz twice a day) and formula again at bedtime. Formula if we are out and about as it's easier. She's 15 months. Good luck.

I just gave it to my dcs straight out of the fridge. If you do want to warm it then heating it in a saucepan until it's the right temp is fine. He can have the same amount of cow's milk as he does formula, to start with. It's not as nutritious as formula though, so you'll probably need to make sure the rest of his diet is good.

Ds1 didn't even notice the change from formula to cow's milk, Dd hated it to begin with so we mixed 5oz of formula with 1oz cow's milk, a couple of days later we did 4oz f and 2oz cm, then 3oz f and 3oz cm, then 2oz f and 4 oz cm, then 1oz f and 5oz cm, then pure cm. It took just over a week, changing the amount every couple of days.
