Nursing clothes challenging feeding

Hi all - not sure where to put this but need help from breastfeeding people! I'm ebf our second, she's 11w and we've had a bumpy road with bad latch, painful nipples, mastitis and thrush. I've just had my first week pain free, but I'm struggling with what clothes I can wear and I'm terrified of wearing the wrong bra and getting mastitis again.

So I've only worn the Emma Jane bras so far and even when aim wearing their biggest size, it feels like it puts to much of a 'push' pressure in my boobs if that makes sense. I don't have massive boobs (and one is bigger than the other) so I'm really confused. I've been wearing silver nipple cups to reduce chafing, but I can my wear a bra so I've had to wear a vest top just to keep them in place, and then another top on top so you can't my see my metal nipples 🤣
I can't wear most dresses because I can't have a vest top underneath and everything depresses me and makes me terrified I'm going to get mastitis.

Which nursing bras are best? I get pressure/pain in the actual cups where nipples are, I haven't been wearing underwires and it feels comfy where the band sits. Thanks!

Hi @Laureatus not sure if you managed to find any answers or suggestions to your queries elsewhere. I'm BF my 12 week old and have had a similar bumpy journey (forceps delivery leaving baby with a lot of tension, damaged nips, TT, thrush, blocked ducts etc etc) - for me the best and comfiest bra I have is bravado ballet nursing bra. It's like wearing pure silk! Since I started wearing this I've had zero blocked ducts or discomfort. Cups are pull aside and low to medium support. It can be worn during the day if you don't mind a less structured fit. I also love Mark's and spencers full cup nursing bras - again they can be worn during the night and ots full cup drop down so you don't have anything constricting the boob when you're feeding.
Both are none wired and for me, work well in being comfy but supportive enough. They also stretch with me so I don't feel like I'm being constricted if my little ones gone longer between night feeds.
For clothing I actually found PatPat nursing t shirts and dresses the best. Vertbaudet nursing dresses also great. Soft stretchy material that either lifts or pulls aside. Plus neither brand are ludicrously expensive (personally spent a small fortunate at seraphine and jojomaman only to find they don't fit right).

Hope these are of some use!
