Combination feeding 3-4 weeks old

Hi mamas,
My newborn is 3 weeks going 4 weeks and I am trying combination feeding as I don't believe I have enough breast milk yet.
When I breastfeed she goes to sleep and even after an hour of feeding she would be hungry so I have no choice but make a bottle of formula (usually 60ml but now 90ml). During the day she asks sometimes every 1hr or 1hr30..
Am I over feeding her? How do I know that she is properly breastfed so I don't need formula?
Please help.

I combination fed - but DS didn’t latch for about 10 days, I was expressing as much as I could but not being able to feed DS directly definitely affected my supply.
If you’ve managed to breastfeed without major issues there’s no reason really why you wouldn’t have enough milk - the answer really is feed feed feed and your supply will increase. Do you have any breastfeeding support groups near you that could offer support? Also have a chat with your HV maybe.
But to answer your initial question - just feed on demand, whether formula or breast you won’t over feed a 3 week old baby, they know when they’re hungry.

Cluster feeding is still very common at this age. They are settling your supply plus going through a growth spurt.

There's nothing here to suggest that you don't have enough milk. Newborns do feed little and often.

Thank you so much :)
My baby also didn't latch for the first 10 days as I didn't have milk plus inverted nipple :( (actually still doesn't so I use nipple shields).
I am happy as long as she is feeding enough but some family members suggested that I feed her too much and top often. But I only do it on demand though!
Your answers gives me relief :) thanks
