How long do things stay sterile after sterilising??

Once bottles and breast pumps have been washed and then sterilised in the steriliser, how long do they stay sterile for?
Is there any specific storage instructions?

There should be instructions that tell you. It's usually about 1 day I think.

If your baby was born full term and healthy you don't need to sterilise anything for use with breastmilk.

I sterilised stuff once a day and left the lid on the steriliser and just picked out what I’d needed as and when - I’d read that 24 hours was fine if things were sealed.

Strictly speaking I think Garman is correct in that it’s only feeding stuff that has come into contact with formula that needs sterilising, but tbh I always sterilised anyway as I was never 100% certain that every inch was going to get washed properly! Too many little pieces with breast pumps etc.

That's a relief! I read somewhere that it's only sterile for 24 hours. Sometimes I sterilise the breast pump, bit then don't use it for a couple of days and I panicked that I'd unknowingly caused harm to my little on. Once sterilised, I keep it in the steriliser, so it's sealed off
