My DD is nearly 3 months and is breastfed all day except for about 150ml of formula at about 7pm.
The last day or so, she seems to be almost fighting with me and sometimes wont even try to feed from me but shows all the signs of being hungry. She will constantly come off and cry/moan.

I don't feel like I'm producing enough and I don't understand why Sad this same thing happened with my last baby and I had to give up bf at 4 months. I desperately want to continue this time!

What do I do? What's going wrong? Thanks

Like even right now, my boobs should feel really full as it's night time and they don't 😫 and she's really frustrated

Sounds perfectly normal baby behaviour. Have you tried some breast compressions? They might help her but to be fair mine got frustrated at that age, didn't have a bottle so there was no preference and I continued BFing.

Your supply will be well established by now so really doubt it's anything to do with supply Flowers

Could it be a nursing strike? My DD did this at around the same age. I followed the advice here - kellymom.com/ages/newborn/nb-challenges/back-to-breast/ Basically took to our bed all day, loads of skin to skin and didn't stress if she refused the breast but offered her some formula top ups instead. After 3 or 4 days or so, she was happily back feeding away.

Thanks both. I had to go and give her formula after I wrote my post 😢

@@Sunnyshoeshine I read about this last night. Unfortunately, due to having a toddler at home, I won't be able to do as you did. I'm hoping to find some time to express at the very least. What do you think changed your baby's mind?
