IME it just takes a few days each time they get a new tooth for you both to get used to it, then you won't notice any more.

sorry not really, my ds2 now has 6teeth, it's definately a different feeling on your nipples, but you soon get used to it. if she does bite take her off, then put her back on, she'll soon get the message. you might find that she's using you as her teething ring! and that's why it rubs. you could try changing the position she's in and makig sure she's latched on correctly. as they learn how to bcome more efficient at feeding they often latch on in correctly which can cause sore nipples for you. if you think she is latched on incorrectly then it may take a little time to correct it properly, but a differnce should be noticeable

No no - if she bites don't take her off - pull her in to your breast, which will cover her nose and make her come off by herself.

thanks when i feed her and feel the tooth i think oh please don't bit me,what a wimp lol

everyones been telling me when they get teeth you have to stop, but we don't want to
i was confidently saying if i can bf after having my ass reconstructed after the birth, then im sure illl be able to do it when dd gets teeth
but now i find myself feeling not quite so confident

I fed my DS til he was 12.5 months. I don't actually remember him biting me at all. If it is the bottom teeth that she is getting, does her tongue cover them? Can't quite remember!

Just a warning about pulling her into your breast - it gives them a fright, so they unlatch; but giving them a fright while feeding can lead to a nursing strike. (Or, if they're my ds1, it gives them a fright so they exhale suddenly, which makes a farting noise against your breast, which makes them laugh, which leads to them wanting to do it every time they feed .) Much better to gently unlatch with your little finger if they bite. If it's just rubbing, echo what people are saying, you'll both get used to it.
