Baby drank 2oz water before formula

So DS (10 months) was playing in his room while I made him his bed time milk.
I saw that he drank 2oz of water out of his sippy cup when I picked him up. I waited like 10 mins to give him his bottle but now I'm worrying that this is going to be similar to diluting his formula.

I googled it (I know I know...) and all I see is water intoxication 🙈 and now I'm panicking a little bit

He's had a total of 24oz formula and 5oz of water today.

Do you think he will be ok? I'm an anxious mess like 99% of the time and it always seems to be at bed time when we're all going to be asleep 🙄

I don’t know how much water my babies consumed at any point. They are 2 and 6.

This isn’t about the water though OP. And reassuring you about water unfortunately sustains the cycle you are in. It’s water today - it’s something else tomorrow perhaps. Reassurance seeking and reassurance finding is the fuel that keeps these cycles going. It’s remarkably similar to health anxiety where the person worried about cancer seeks and finds reassurance about cancer, only for it to become about MND the next day and so on.

Revisiting the help plan you have in place for this and putting in new treatment or therapies may really help.

@BunnyRuddington

I'm sorry to have to break this to you but children often want things that aren't recommended. If give them things because they scream or shout for it, you're going to have a really rough ride when they get to the teen years and they're physically stronger than you abs want money for drugs or alcohol.
What a lot of shite. There is nothing wrong with giving a 10 month old 24oz of milk a day. It literally says in the NHS guidelines its fine.

Sport OP, I was a bit harsh in my last post and for that I apologise.

Obviously I didn't mean to deny a crying baby milk but reducing his milk intake is something to perhaps work towards, along with increasing solids.

Bringing up babies and children is hard. I hope that you can overcome your anxiety abs get some good support so that you can relax a bit Thanks

Hilarious Grin. Did you have a few too many last night @BunnyRuddington and wake up feeling in the mood to be a twat?
