Drying baby bottles

I usually wash baby bottles and pump stuff in the dishwasher, but they arent ever quite dry after so I'll then put them in a piece of clean kitchen roll to dry overnight, then the next morning assemble them and put them in a cupboard until needed (and at that point put them in a milton bucket).

We usually grab the first bottle or pump set we can reach in the cupboard, which means the ones at the back may not have been used for a few weeks. I just got a milk storage bottle out of the cupboard and there's condensation in it - is it safe to use? Why has it happened - have I put them away not dry enough? I'm not sure I can do more than leave them overnight!

You need to rotate the bottles...move the older ones to the front.

The condensation may have come from general dampness in the cupboard. But you don't have to assemble them...why are you assembling them?

I think I read advice on here to assemble them?! We don't have much cupboard space so it makes it so much quicker and easier to have everything assembled and altogether rather than having to dig around for a lid and risk everything flying all over the floor, or having to clean a side in advance to move the bottles onto to be able to look through them (similarly this is why we find it tricky to rotate them). We already feel so drained by how much process there is around a bottle feed that it sometimes stops me getting out because it feels so much less stressful to just stay with him and breastfeed.

I don't know whether it's okay to keep using this bottle with condensation in as I'm concerned it means there's an early stage of mold growing - any advice?

Just re-do it. I would. The thing is, how many bottles have you got on the go?

Oh I'll redo it, I meant do I need to chuck it out!

We have maybe 4 milk storage bottles, 4 breast pump shields and attachments, and I think 7 baby bottles but he still only drinks from the size 0 teats so some of them haven't been used for a while
