Hope someone can help :(
All was fine up until today, we got stuck in traffic and baby was very upset and I couldn't pull over to feed her as we were stuck in traffic for ages, she eventually fell asleep. When we got home I fed her around 8, since then she's been on and off inconsolably crying, a fed usually solves everything! Have given teething powder, ibuprofen & infacol twice this evening and she's still the same. She's gesturing for a feed but whenever I offer (probably about 10 times tonight) she starts crying and won't try to suckle at all, this hasn't happened before. I'm carrying her around at the moment and is quiet. I think she is teething, wondering if she has trapped gas from crying earlier. Any reasons why she would refuse? A feeding strike? Thank you for any advice x

Sounds like she is overtired to me.

How are things this morning @cantthinkofaname2021?

I’d call la leche league and if it continues, call 111 and insist on seeing a doctor to check her over.

In the meantime, I’d plan a quiet day and hold her in a sling as much as you can. Lots of skin to skin. Put off anything else (outings, housework) that can’t wait.

Thank you all for the replies, I managed to get her off to sleeep around 1am and she woke up for a feed and was fine, was very worried as that hadn't happened before with my son either, it's usually the answer to most problems! I think you're right she was overtired
Thank you for the caring replies Thanks

My kids went through this stage. They would always feed as soon as they woke up so I made sure they fed as soon as possible after that. It never seemed to last more than 8hrs or so then they would be back to normal.
