Reflux / BF / introducing formula / dummy refusal

Soo add is 8wks & EBF until a 6wks when we started the occasional bottle of ready made Aptamil formula for on the go when BF is a bit difficult or I feel too much exposed (can feel a bit anxious trying to nurse out & about which just stresses me out).
However, since introducing formula DD has been getting reflux - I’m almost sure she had this beforehand as she’s always been unsettled / crying a lot / hates lying on her back / possetting / feeding every 45mins - 1hr. But, is it possible formula makes it way worse? We’re now having 1x bottle of formula a day. She’s now sick after every feed even BF & this evening I winded her for 45 mins, the whole time she was grimacing, so upset & you could hear the milk coming up to her throat & her trying to swallow it back down.. poor darling.
We use infacol before feeds but I’m not convinced this helps - my partner swears it does.. but he’s not up all night feeding / winding. Currently winding then spending 39mins upright too but with her feeding so frequently I’m not getting much sleep at all 3-4hrs.
I’ve also tried a dummy to help but she refuses it making gagging noises if I try to put it in & so I stop as it just upsets her. We use the MAM anti-colic bottles which she takes but won’t take the MAM newborn dummies - the tears look exactly the same?! First tried to introduce a dummy at 2& 3 wks but again refused both times.
Currently weighing up all the following:
a) try a different formula.
b) persist with the aptamil & see if her tummy gets used to it
b) see GP
c) try different dummy
d) persist with trying MAM dummy & hope eventually she takes it

I’m a bit bewildered to be honest. Any thoughts or tips?

Could you just stop the formula for a while to see how you get on?

Could it be CMPA?

I’m not sure, how can you tell? X

The link I posted gives you some more info Smile

I'd look into cmpa and silent reflux (which is where they swallow it down and it hurts them as the acid hurts their throat on the way down too). My dd had both, although she spent all her time screaming so it was I guess more obvious. I had to go milk free and when she had formula she had prescription milk protein free stuff and two meds for her silent reflux. She also refused all dummies and would never be laid flat (she'd scream the place down) so lived in a baby carrier forever.

That sounds a lot like our DD. Screaming unless feeding or asleep, but will not sleep on her back, can’t stand tummy time & absolute hates nappy being changed too when we lay on mat.. Sad

Personally I'd stop the formula and pump to produce milk you can then bottle feed in public.
