How do you all make up formula ?

So I'm just changing from Expressed breast milk to formula and reading the tin it says boil kettle and wait 30 mins, my ds goes from 0 to turbo in 0.2sec so I've been boilin the kettle putting 60 ml then adding formula then adding cold boiled water from the fridge to make it the right temp.
Are they any other cheat ways to make up bottles? As it seems like a right ball ache.
My first son I used to boil the water let it cool then put it in the fridge then when needed microwave it to make the water the right temp

I boil the kettle and mix as soon as boiled. I place the bottle inside a jug of cold water for 5 minutes or run under cold tap if baby is really crying to try and speed it up! When out and about I take a thermos of hot boiled water and a bottle of cooled boiled water. For a 6 oz bottle I would do 60 ml hot shot with the boiled water to mix all formula and kill bacteria then top up 120 ml with the cooled boiled water and it's the perfect temperature. Same principle as the perfect prep machine which I also have but have recently stop using as much as I find it makes bottles foamy and bubbly. I know some formulas do say to let kettle cool for 30 minutes but i would be worried that the water had cooled more than the 70 degrees it needs to be to kill the bacteria in the formula. It probably wouldn't have cooled that much but I am just a worried! My sister has a kettle with a thermometer on so when I make bottles at her house, I just boil until it reaches 70 degrees, definitely takes less time to cool then when fully boiled!

The perfect prep is good for screaming baby and you can buy the older model for around £60 now.

I use a perfect prep. Picked up from FB marketplace, cleaned and then cleaned regularly. No issues whatsoever.

First baby- made up a day’s worth in the evening before with a hot kettle. Put in fridge. Microwaved for 20 secs to take cold edge off.
Second baby- perfect prep!

That's how I always make it. The nhs and who also say that it is ok to make up bottles with 70°+ water then flash cool them in iced water and store them in the back of the fridge (the coldest part) for 24 hours.

Either a) planning ahead. DS normally does 2.5-3-5 hours between bottles. Packet says can make up in advance 2 hours before, I know general advice is 1 hour so at the 2/2.5 hour mark I make the bottle and it’s normally a perfect temp when needed.
Or b) make when needed with fresh hot kettle water and wack it in a glass (gin glasses work a treat!) of cold water with a few ice cubes in it and swirl it around a bit. Cool within minutes

We only topped up rather than fully bottle fed so I knew when he was "due" his bottle and we'd make it about an hour in advance so it was the right temperature when he wanted it.

If I was fully bottle feeding I'd make one as soon as I finished feeding one. Flash cool and store in fridge. That way you can use hot water (you don't have to wait 30 mins, just "no more than 30 mins") but the made up formula isn't sitting around for hours and hours.

I make up as soon as kettle boiled and leave to cool on the side for 30 mins (use within the hour) or if needed sooner stick in jug of cold water for 5-10 mins. But DS nearly 1 and on solids so bottles are few and timed nowadays

I think for new born I’d invest in perfect prep
