Dropping night feed effecting total milk intake

Hi my LG is 6.5 months old and we’ve started weaning (mixture of BLW and purées) three weeks ago. She’s recently dropped her (1) night feed and because of this her total formula amount over 24 hours is now less. She isn’t drinking more during the day to compensate for this and can be quite fussy with her bottles anyway so sometimes doesn’t drink as much anyway. She used to have 30oz-34oz in 24 hours but is now having around 25oz. I was just wondering should she be drinking more during the day to make up for the ounces Shes not having anymore. If so, should I be waking her for her night feed to make sure she’s getting enough over a 24 hour period? (She’s about 7kg).

A minimum of 20oz is recommended from 6 months. Does she have water with meals?

A dietician explained it to me to think about food complimenting the milk feeds. Theor milk intake has been increasing from birth to 6 months but when they start eating solids then reliance on milk for calories/nutrition will naturally drop off after a while. I was told 21oz for 6-9months should be a minimum goal. It sounds like your LG is getting plenty if she’s taking 25oz still. I’d enjoy the fact that she isn’t up for a night feed!

Hello!
As soon as my son had a taste of food his milk intake went from 28oz (he never had much of an appetite for it) to about 15-20oz. He just loved his food! We did a mix of baby led and purées too. He would have three meals and four bottles a day. He's now 17 months and still a great eater and has 2 bottles a day. We give him water with every meal but he never drinks a lot.at first I was a bit stressed about fluid intake but his nappies were always nice and wet and he's still alive and healthy!
If you're worried then keep offering the milk but if he's eating well then I'm sure it's fine!
