Breast milk out of fridge

I'm getting my hair done so DH has taken the kids to the park and took a bottle of breastmilk out of the fridge incase the baby needs fed while I'm away. If he doesn't use it is it ok to go back in the fridge after max 3 hours out - to be used overnight?
I know breastmilk can stay out of that fridge for 6 hours then used but I'm not sure about out of the fridge then back in? It was pumped at 10pm last night and refrigerated straight away if that makes a difference.

It would last longer if kept in a coolbag with an ice pack. Maybe sniff it before using to see if it smells bad

He ended up drinking 2oz out of the 5oz so the rest had to be tossed anyway. Such a waste. I think he was holding out for me, as soon as he saw me he started screeching

Maybe split into smaller bottles if he doesn't take a large amount at once

It's the first time he's been offered a bottle during the day tbf. He's only ever had one when I've had a 'night off' in the spare room and he's always finished it but i suppose he's really hungry at 4am.
Annoying when your pumped milk is wasted though, never mind! At least I got my hair done!

I don't think you can keep milk in a bottle that's he's fed from. If I remember correctly it will have more germs etc from the babies mouth that multiply. The same with food, you can keep left overs but not a half eaten sausage. Agreed it's annoying though as pumping isn't fun!
