Baby reflux but only puked twice

Hi my baby is 9 weeks old and she never spit up milk but in March she pulled twice and her feed dropped so she was diagnosed with reflux so doctor asked me to get aptamil anti reflux and prescribed gaviscon and she was fine till now.

Suddenly her feed dropped from 900 to 600ml and she puked yesterday once and today once but she sleeps really well and doesn't cry.

Feeding has becoming a problem as she arches back, cries and doesn't want to take it but then cry because she is hungry and keeps on putting hands in her mouth.

She gets frustrated what can I do?

Sounds like silent reflux. Hold her upright after feed on your shoulder. That really helped my child

What size teat are you using? She might need a faster flow if she’s getting frustrated

I've just posted on your other thread saying that there's a chance that she may have CMPA. It's definitely worth having a read of the article and then speak to the GP on Monday.

If baby is having significantly less formula than the 2.5 floz per pound in weight in a day, I'd phone 111 or take them to A&E though.

If the milk and Gaviscon combi are no longer working the GP can prescribe other, better, anti-reflux meds and/or trial a formula suitable for babies with CMPA.

Them forgot to mention that the other thing that could cause these symptoms could be Tongue Tie. Have a read of the symptoms and see what you think Thanks
