Should I try different formula?

My dd (nearly 6 months old) has been bottle fed almost from birth and has always been an enthusiastic feeder, but in the last few weeks it has been a battle to get her to take her milk. She's gone from happily taking 7-8oz in a feed to taking only 5-6oz, and it can take an hour for her to take that much. She moves her head away from the bottle and pushes the teat out of her mouth and is very forceful about it. Have started weaning in the last couple of weeks but she was rejecting the bottle before this. Thought it was just a phase but now getting worried that she's not getting enough milk and feel like I am force feeding her, have been in tears several times over this. Health visitor not really been any help. Am now wondering if I should try a different formula but don't want to make things worse.

Anyone got any suggestions/been through similar experience???

Looby, might she be teething? Or could she have thrush in her mouth which might need an antifungal getl?If so, it's probably just a phase and she should revert to her old self after a while. Don't think a different formula would be likely to make a difference tbh.

Think she is teething, have been applying teething gel and giving her a toothing ring to chew on before each feed, doesn't seem to help. What are signs she might have thrush in her mouth? Am just worried she's not getting the right nutrition, but she seems her usual happy self so hope I'm worrying over nothing!

Thrush shows up as little white patches on the roof of the mouth and on the insides of the cheeks. When ds2 was little my GP thought he had thrush because he had a white tongue but I treated it with gel for WEEKS. He happened to have an appointment with the paediatrician who said it wasn't thrush, it was MILK!!! Mainly because it was only on his tongue and nowhere else.
If she's happy otherwise, Looby, I'd leave her alone with whatever formula she's on. They all go through different phases with appetite anyway.

Thanks Chipmonkey, don't think she has thrush, can't see any white spots. Things seem to be improving now, since I've stopped getting myself worked up about it she's started taking more milk again - famous last words!!!
